April 2010 will mark the 40th anniversary of Earth Day! Founded by Democratic US Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin, Earth Day sparked the beginning of the modern environmental movement. In honor of this momentous occasion, the Highlands Ranch/Lone Tree Democrats have invited Kirk Kunkle, Public Lands Director for the Colorado Environmental Coalition, to speak on the new federal Wilderness Areas proposed for Colorado!
